What You’ll Do
Volvo Trucks Southern Africa presents an exciting opportunity for a graduate to gain exposure in various Business Control functions outlined below.
This role is situated in Boksburg at the Regional Distribution Centre.
The successful candidate will gain insights into diverse Business Control functions.

Key Responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to)
Assisting in management cost control.
Supporting monthly financial reporting, including journal posting and SAP system review.
Reporting financial outcomes on the company’s reporting platform (VGCS system).
Conducting detailed financial analyses versus planned/budgeted figures.
Preparing and presenting results to the Global Business Control Team.
Aiding in financial forecasting and budget preparation.
Managing equipment investments.
Implementing Cost Deployment strategies to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Supporting other finance-related tasks.
Compiling and analyzing freight cost reports for accuracy and completeness.
Managing freight payments.
Facilitating the procurement process, including creating purchase orders and ensuring goods delivery.
Monitoring spending and usage of miscellaneous items.
Undertaking additional duties as assigned by the Service Market Logistics Team.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Finance.
Key Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel being advantageous.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Strong time management skills.
Solid administrative skills.
Capability to work well under pressure.
Flexibility.
