An Omni Merchant opportunity has become available within the Jewellery division, working closely with the Online Trade Manager to fully implement the department’s merchandise and turnover strategy.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure all product is uploaded to the online store on time, in time and in full and in an accurate manner
- Checking accuracy and loading all the product information through all the live systems, including ODBMS, Omni-Product and BCC
- Sourcing and uploading images into the omni share file
- Co-ordination and delivery of elements and components required for promotions, campaigns, launches etc.
- Work in conjunction with all business units and stakeholders to ensure that marketing communication is accurate and valid
- Stakeholder relationship management
- Group the styles into product categories, capture attributes and product descriptions, check product images are loaded correctly, hide inactive SKUs, monitor online stock to meet revenue targets
- Ensure agreed KPIs are met i.e. sales, stock flow, stock turn, markdowns etc
Requirements:
- A business diploma
- High degree of numeracy and analytical, detailed, systematic and strategic approach to work
- Computer literacy and some experience of CMS, POS or planning systems
- Strong potential for business acumen and merchant thinking
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies
- Ability to understand web analytics, tracking and reporting
- Some knowledge and experience of eCommerce retail
