Job Title: Call Agent (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from clients, providing accurate information about our products and services.
  • Identify and pursue leads, offering tailored solutions to meet clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Escalate unresolved queries to management and diligently follow up on case statuses.
  • Adhere to daily schedules, targets, and service level agreements.
  • Engage in culture-building initiatives and corporate social responsibility activities.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes, industry developments, and risk standards relevant to your role.
  • Continuously enhance your personal capabilities and stay abreast of developments in your field of expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • NQF Level 4 or higher in Banking, Sales, Marketing, Financial, or Business-related field.
  • Minimum FAIS 120 Credits.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in a Contact Centre or Banking environment.
  • 1-2 years of Contact Centre or Banking experience required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Clear ITC and Criminal Record.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Basic numerical ability.

Working Hours:

  • Prepared to work an eight-hour shift per day, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Technical / Professional Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in administrative procedures and systems.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Knowledge of banking procedures, principles, and terms.
  • Awareness of governance, risk, and controls.
