 REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Grade 12 Certificate with relevant experience in a customer service environmentA tertiary qualification at NQF level 6 will be an advantageProven client focus and orientation experienceSound interpersonal skillsHonesty and integrityBasic Computer literacy and NumeracyGood written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to work extended hours including overtime weekends and shifts are criticalApplicants appointed to work in Mobile Units may be exposed to environmental factors (rain, sun, cold etc)Preference will be given to candidates from the local area where the position and/or office will be based. 
  • DUTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks: 
  • Serve as a direct point of contact for clientsAssist clients in completing application forms and verifying that they are filled in appropriately in accordance with DHA requirements, standards and guidelineExecute Civic Services Front Office application processesResolve problems or complaints within scope of the work areaAssist with any duties required by management in the quest for client service excellenceProvide highest level of prompt and friendly client serviceRender services in mobile units where requiredEnsure and assist with the rolling and capturing of Finger-printsUpdate the Track and Trace systemReceive and sort enabling documentsServe as a point of contact for clientsAssist with the verification and processing of clients application forms in accordance with DHA requirements, standards and guidelinesExecute Civic Services back office application processes.
