Job DescriptionTo partner, advise and enable Business and Human Capital (HC) stakeholders by developing and applying best practice Talent Attraction (TA) tactics in the assigned portfolio to position RMB as a employer of choice.
- Understand and keep abreast of the key macro environmental impacts and inter-relationships e.g. social, economic, industry, regulatory and labour market changes to identify opportunities and constraints to TA strategies. This includes active networking and engaging with internal and external stakeholders as a subject matter expert e.g. industry forums.
- Consider and integrate relevant environmental factors into talent sourcing action plans and make adjustments and improvements to ways of working, enabling technologies and candidate engagement tactics on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrate a practical understanding of the Corporate and Investment Banking environment – understand business fundamentals and is aware of the key drivers impacting revenue, market share and competitive positioning. This includes the anticipation of changes to the business cycle so that TA better supports business performance by adapting sourcing strategies.
- Actively seek opportunities to align TA practices and enabling systems beyond the scope of the immediate environment to improve organisational effectiveness. This includes the management of candidate pipelines, relationships with third party providers and optimisation of talent initiatives e.g. Count CA Programme
- Display an in-depth knowledge and effective deployment of relevant systems and interdependencies between these systems.
- Rely on relevant data to build pipeline and placement dashboards that are integrated and future focused to enable informed decision-making by Hiring managers e.g. skills of the future lead indicators.
- Demonstrate a seasoned knowledge of competency based and targeted recruitment and selection practices and procedures to support the business across all recruitment initiatives i.e. sourcing, selection, assessment, placement and post-placement. This includes regular business updates and providing stakeholder coaching/training as required.
- Design and build diversified sourcing strategies leveraging direct and indirect sourcing channels. This includes the identification of process/system/ ways of working gaps and the dynamic selection of sourcing techniques to meet the specific business requirement.
- Partner with other HC CoEs to ensure a seamless and integrated talent value proposition. This includes alignment to business talent management, retention and transformation strategies.
- Is able to determine relevant and best-fit assessment requirements and interpret assessment information against role requirements to determine appropriate person-role fit
- Ensure the appropriate controls and solutions to mitigate against compliance and legislative exposures. This includes the preparation and approvals of required candidate documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional Human Capital projects, involving value-chain enhancements and improvements.
- Is aware of the interdependencies that exist between various Human Capital and Business areas and coordinates stakeholder activities to ensure successful implementation.
- Assess effectiveness of TA tactics and stakeholder engagement by measuring changes in client satisfaction (business), external recruitment rate, cost of hire, internal promotion rate, external offer acceptance rate and time to start etc.
- Support and enable colleague induction and performance by ensuring an environment of knowledge sharing, feedback and inclusion.
