FIDELITY Grade C Armed Security Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Grade C Armed Security Officer to join our security team at a National Key Point.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, personnel and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• PSIRA Grade C registration and accreditation
• At least 2 years’ experience in armed security, preferable in a high-security environment
• SAPS Firearm Competency Certificate (Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle for business purpose)
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo regular polygraph tests

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

• Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.
• Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered.
• Monitor and control access points to the facility
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and daily activities
• Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures
