Purpose of the BursaryThe Shoprite Bursary aims to attract and fund talented Chartered Accounting students to become part of the Company’s Finance team after the completion of their studies. The Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme provides trainees with exposure to the commerce industry across the business, academic support and is mentored by our management team to ensure that we develop well-rounded CAs. During the three-year Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme, trainees receive the opportunity to rotate throughout the business and learn through on the job training to ensure that they receive the best technical exposure to develop the prescribed SAICA learning outcomes in preparation for the SAICA APC exam.
